Sue Sampson-Dalena, Owner/Artistic Director of the Dance Studio of Fresno, had a vision to reach young people all over the City of Fresno over 20 years ago. She dreamed of teaching the art of dance and the value of it. Her vision sparked an explosion that erupted the moment The Dance Studio opened its doors. Her efforts took The Dance Studio national, competing and guest performing in major dance venues all over the Country.

Through the years, The Dance Studio of Fresno has attracted thousands of dancers from throughout the State of California and especially from the Central Valley. Students have enjoyed the opportunity to learn directly from Sue and to experience dance on another level.

The long nights of instruction, patience, and discipline have paid off for everyone, as Sue led a team of dancers, administrators, and instructors to the brand new, state of the art Dance Studio in 2001. The 12,000 square foot facility includes six separate classrooms with parent viewing areas, a snack bar, boutique, and dressing rooms. Sue employs a team of 35 teachers and staff, has an enrollment of approximately 1500 students, and conducts over 180 classes each week (plus additional private lessons and team rehearsals).
